Garbage pick-up is every Monday. Please have the cart out by 6:00 AM.

Recycling collection go to dmcwaste.org for collection information.

 

Cart Placement

Carts must face the street with wheels towards the house. Carts must be 5 ft away from and other objects, including each cart.

Holiday Schedule – 2026

Labor Day: Tuesday September 8th, 2026

The following holidays will be collected on your normal scheduled day:

New Years Day, Martin Luther King Day, Memorial Day, July 4th, Columbus Day, Veteran’s Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day

If you are uncertain about your holiday schedule, please place your garbage out by 6:00 AM on your regular collection day, and we will ensure to pick it up by 4:00 PM the next day.

Spring Clean-up Schedule

Friday May 15th, 2026

ITEMS NEED TO BE CURBSIDE BY 6AM 

ITEMS ACCEPTED: 

Misc. household unwanted items, including (2) furniture items.

Window & Door (1 of each, per household)

Regular household food waste

Carpet rolled and tied in 6ft length (1 roll per household)

“Limit 2” Appliances – washers, dryers, water heaters, refrigerators, a/c units, microwaves, and stoves. (No food waste or trash in appliances)

Misc. Scrap Metal items

Used oil – 5.gl limit.

Dried latex paint only – no other chemical waste will be allowed.

Misc. trash must be bagged or boxed “Loose trash will not be taken.”

Piles cannot exceed 8.ft Length x 8.ft width x 3.ft Height

Tv’s and Monitors require bulk sticker $30.00 sold City Hall

Items must be bagged or boxed so the collectors can pick them up from the curbside. We will not rake or scoop up loose piles of trash thrown at the curb.

Fall Clean-Up Schedule – 2026

Deliver Tuesday October 6th 2- roll off boxes will be provided and the container will be removed on Monday morning October 12th.

No construction or demolition material.

We will not rake or scoop up loose piles of trash thrown at the curb

No Pianos – Organs – Hot Tubs

If the item is so big that it would require a trailer to haul it off, we cannot accept such items.
