Garbage pick-up for North Side is every Tuesday and South Side is every Thursday. Please have the cart out by 6:00 AM.
Recycling pick-up is every other week (See Chart Below). Please have it out by 6:00 AM.

Cart Placement
Carts must face the street with wheels towards the house. Carts must be 5 ft away from and other objects, including each cart.
Holiday Schedule
New Years Day: South Side Trash will be collected Friday January 3rd
Labor Day: North Side Trash will be collected Wednesday September 3rd.
South Side Trash will be collected Friday September 5th.
Thanksgiving – North Side Trash will be collected on normal collection days.
South Side Trash will be collected Friday November 28th.
Christmas Day – North Side Trash will be collected on normal collection days.
South Side Trash will be collected Friday December 26th.
The following holidays will be collected on your normal scheduled day:
July 4th, Memorial Day, Martin Luther King Day, Columbus Day, Veteran’s Day.
Spring Clean-up Schedule
Friday, June 13th, 2025
ITEMS ACCEPTED:
- Misc. household unwanted items, including (2) furniture items.
- Window & Door (1 of each, per household)
- Regular household food waste
- Carpet rolled and tied in 6ft length (1 roll per household)
- Appliances – washers, dryers, water heaters, refrigerators, a/c units, microwaves, and stoves. (No food waste or trash in appliances)
- Misc. Scrap Metal items
- Used oil – 5.gl limit.
- Dried latex paint only – no other chemical waste will be allowed.
- Misc. trash must be bagged or boxed “Loose trash will not be taken.”
- Piles cannot exceed 8.ft Length x 8.ft width x 3.ft Height
- Tv’s and Monitors require bulk sticker $30.00 sold City Hall
ITEMS NOT ACCEPTED:
- Oil base Paint
- Any & all Chemicals
- Concrete, Bricks or Ashes
- No construction or demolition material.
- We will not rake or scoop up loose piles of trash thrown at the curb
