Garbage pick-up is every Monday. Please have the cart out by 6:00 AM.
Bulk Items: Residents may call Wemiga Waste and schedule to bring a bulk item into our facility for a fee.
Recycling pick-up collection information is available at dmcwaste.org.
Cart Placement
Carts must face the street with wheels towards the house. Carts must be 5 ft away from and other objects, including each cart.
Holiday Schedule – 2026
Labor Day: Tuesday September 8th, 2026
The following holidays will be collected on your normal scheduled day:
New Years Day, Martin Luther King Day, Memorial Day, July 4th, Columbus Day, Veteran’s Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day
If you are uncertain about your holiday schedule, please place your garbage out by 6:00 AM on your regular collection day, and we will ensure to pick it up by 4:00 PM the next day.
Fall Clean-up Schedule(Roll Off)
Deliver 30YD Tuesday October 6th 2026
Remove Monday October 12th, 2026
ITEMS NEED TO BE CURBSIDE BY 6AM
ITEMS ACCEPTED:
Misc. household unwanted items, including (2) furniture items.
Window & Door (1 of each, per household)
Regular household food waste
Carpet rolled and tied in 6ft length (1 roll per household)
Dried latex paint only – no other chemical waste will be allowed.
ITEMS NOT ACCEPTED:
Oil base Paint
Any & all Chemicals
Concrete, Bricks or Ashes
No construction or demolition material.
No tires
No Pianos – Organs – Hot Tubs
If the item is so big that it would require a trailer to haul it off, we cannot accept such items.
