Garbage pick-up is every Thursday. Please have the cart out by 6:00 AM.
Bulk Items:
Residents may purchase a bulk sticker from City Hall and schedule a pick-up for a bulk item throughout the year.
Yard Waste:
A container is kept at the east end of Fourth Street for specifically yard waste – absolutely no trash bags or trash of any kind.
Recycling pick-up is every other Thursday (See Chart Below). Please have it out by 6:00 AM.

Cart Placement
Carts must face the street with wheels towards the house. Carts must be 5 ft away from and other objects, including each cart.

Thanksgiving: Friday November 27th, 2026
The following holidays will be collected on your normal scheduled day:
Martin Luther King Day, Memorial Day, July 4th, Columbus Day, Veteran’s Day, Christmas Day
If you are uncertain about your holiday schedule, please place your garbage out by 6:00 AM on your regular collection day, and we will ensure to pick it up by 4:00 PM the next day.
Spring Clean-up Schedule
Friday April 17th, 2026
ITEMS NEED TO BE CURBSIDE BY 6AM
ITEMS ACCEPTED
Misc. household unwanted items, including up to (2) furniture items.
Window & Door (1 of each, per household)
Regular household food waste
Carpet rolled and tied in 6ft length (1 roll per household)
“Limit 2” Appliances: washers, dryers, water heaters, refrigerators, a/c units, microwaves, and stoves. (No food waste or trash in appliances)
Misc. scrap metal items
Used Oil – 5 gal limit
Dried latex paint only – no other chemical waste will be allowed.
Misc. trash must be bagged or boxed. Loose trash will not be taken.
Piles cannot exceed 8ft x 8ft and 3 ft high.
TVs and Monitors require a bulk sticker ($30) sold at City Hall.
Items must be bagged or boxed so the collectors can pick them up from curbside. We will not rake or scoop up loose piles of trash thrown at the curb.

No Pianos – Organs – Hot tubs
If the item is so big that it would require a trailer to haul it off, we cannot accept such items.
